Livin’ High on the Hog When You Can’t Afford Bacon

You know what I think? There are millions and millions of stressed out people in this country and a whole bunch of other countries worrying about money a good bit of the time. Juggling too many bills. Not enough income. Trying to save a little bit. Trying to hold on to a middle-class lifestyle (whatever that is). And discouraged because it’s just so dang hard to do.

Sound like someone you know?

Heck, that sounds like me. And it makes me pretty mad to think that so many of us are struggling along and worrying about the future. Now I can’t do a thing about the global economy or gas prices, but I figure I can find as many ways as possible to live a comfortable lifestyle — without going further into debt and without feeling like the “good life” has slipped out of reach.

That’s what this blog is all about. Learning ways to cut expenses, have some fun, and live well — without feeling deprived and without racking up a bunch of credit card bills. Yeah!

Interested? Think it can’t be done? Well, Cupcake, I’m about to prove you wrong!

The Famous Frugalista — (that would be me) — is now in full-blown “money-savin’ mode!” Saving on everything you can think of. Well, just about everything. . . and I’m going to show you how to do it too.

If you’re thinking I look a little outlandish with my feather boas and red tiara, you’d be right. That’s the whole point. Got your attention, didn’t I?

My look might be a little over-the-top, but saving money sure isn’t — and that’s what you want to do, right?

So, stick around Darlin’.  This blog is for all of us who want to live better, enjoy life, and have a few bucks left over at the end of the month besides. Let’s help each other “live high on the hog when we can’t afford bacon.”
